What is AI Competence after the EU AI Act?
AI literacy refers to the ability of employees to proficiently use AI systems, interpret their results, and identify risks. According to Article 4 of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), providers and operators must take measures to promote this competence. This obligation applies since February 2, 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions about AI Training
Are AI training courses required under the EU AI Act?
The EU AI Act does not specify a specific training format. However, under Article 4, providers and operators must take measures to promote the AI skills of their employees; this requirement applies from February 2, 2025. Trainings are the usual and proven way to fulfill this obligation.
Who needs to be trained?
Everyone who uses AI systems in their daily work or decides on their deployment, that is, usually significantly more people than just IT. Executives also need knowledge about responsibility and decision-making processes, as well as expertise in their specific systems.
What is taught in an AI basic training?
How AI systems work in general, where typical error sources are located, which data must not be entered, how results are reviewed and labeled, and to whom employees should turn with any questions. The content is adapted to your AI policies.
Are the training courses also available as e-learning?
Yes. We offer training content through our learning platform, with knowledge tests and, on request, as a white-label version for your own learning management system. In-person training and webinars are also available.
How often do AI training sessions need to be repeated?
There is no fixed legal deadline. A regular schedule is useful, supplemented by occasional training sessions: new systems, changed functions, new regulations. We set the schedule together and adhere to it in accordance with your specifications.
How do we demonstrate AI literacy?
About documented training planning, attendance certificates, and the evaluation of knowledge tests. We organize the documentation of evidence so that it fits your AI governance and can be presented during exams.
